The Goreville High School is scheduled to perform the musical Grease this Friday and Saturday evening at the High School gymnasium with a showtime of 7 p.m.

The performers invite the public to an evening of comedy, dancing and a lot of singing.

“Let us take you back to those wonderful days of the 50’s,” said musical director Barb Smith. “Our very talented musical students have worked hard to prepare for this show, which everyone will enjoy.”

Tickets are available by contacting Smith at the school at 995-2142 for both Friday and Saturday night performances.  Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students.

“Also on Saturday night, we’re having a 50’s style diner in the school cafeteria,” Smith said.  “The Band Boosters will be serving cheeseburgers and hot dog meals starting at 5 pm. Please help the Goreville Band reach their goal to purchase new band uniforms by coming and sharing in this fundraiser.”

Tickets for the dinner and show together are $12 for adults and $9 for students.
