Goreville Blackcats Kyefer Cavins, Connor Seavers, and Dallas Melot were surrounded by family members as they each signed letters of intent to play football in college at Lindenwood University-Belleville. The three Blackcats have been playing football together since they were in junior high when Vienna-Goreville played its first varsity football game. They said the prospect of continuing to play on the same team with each other helped to make the decision to attend Lindenwood. Vienna-Goreville Football Coach Mike Rude was on hand and said he was proud of their accomplishments and praised their efforts as Eagles’ football players. The three will start training with Lindenwood in August and they said they could not be happier about it.
