Tim Gage chosen as Goreville’s 2013 Citizen of the Year

Goreville Citizen of the Year Award was presented to Tim Gage this past week by Mayor Larry Vaughn as Gage’s nomination praised his dedication to the Citizens of Goreville and his continual efforts to help make Goreville a safe and growing community.

“Tim has touched many lives with his caring response in emergency situations,” said one nomination. Gage has served as a volunteer fireman in the community for the past 25 years with 22 of those years in the position of Chief while also serving on the Goreville Village Board. He is enlisted in the First Responder services and has given freely of his time to make Goreville a better place.

The Village of Goreville and this publication congratulates Tim Gage in his selection as the 2013 Citizen of the Year.
